THE OPPORTUNITY

BILLY REID, a southern based contemporary fashion company seeks to hire a Brand Marketing Manager that will work in partnership with the Head of Marketing. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who wants to progress in their career by learning from daily execution and engaged leadership while participating at a very high level with integrity and ownership.

Responsibilities:

Calendar:  Support all brand marketing efforts as it pertains to maintaining the marketing communication calendar.  Work closely with cross functional teams to understand shifts in calendar and strategies based on inventory or business performance and adjust accordingly.

Project Management:  Point of contact for marketing operations workstreams

Support production/creative with kick-off and timelines including oversight of dashboards to ensure all details are aggregated including day-to-day execution and follow-ups of marketing tactics

Partners with cross divisional teams (i.e. Merchants, Creative, E-Commerce, Legal, Store Ops, etc.) to ensure campaigns are fully integrated and compliant

Creative briefs:  Create and manage creative briefs for all brand marketing channels such as: email, paid media, website, influencer, social media, partnerships/ collaborations, retail events and public relations to ensure all facets are completed per brief and delivered on time

Participate in Creative Review Meetings to document notes and approvals on brand assets and update in Asana

Strategy: In collaboration, ensure all campaigns support brand initiatives, vision, and customer experience, engagement and customer growth

Marketing Initiatives:  Support team with brand strategy and campaigns to drive increased awareness and customer growth through media amplification, retail events and activations, partnerships and wholesale support

Reporting:  Responsible for campaign measurement and collaboration with the brand team

Monitor and keep abreast of industry trends and competitor strategy

Possess excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and projects at a time, ensuring timely delivery of strategy and action points

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in fashion apparel, footwear or related industry
  • Broad product and brand knowledge within Fashion and apparel industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new content & processes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity while successfully navigating in ambiguous environments
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator
  • Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure
  • Accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues

You will...

  • Design both print and digital-focused customer-facing marketing communications, following deadlines provided by the Marketing Project Manager
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications 
  • Execute on-brand design projects from conceptual stage to final product for all digital channels, including web, email, and social
  • Develop and adapt work efficiently and proactively with feedback to minimize number of iterations (when possible)
  • On-going file management support for cross-department collaboration

You are…

  • Strengths in typography, following and building upon design systems, and visual storytelling

You have…

Minimum 3+ years’ experience at a creative or branding agency for a consumer brand

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design or web design software (Sketch, Adobe XD, etc)

1-2 years experience with eCommerce platforms, Shopify preferred

1-2 years experience with email marketing platforms, Klaviyo preferred

A strong, dynamic portfolio that showcases a broad range of print and web design knowledge, as well as an upscale aesthetic

Smart, creative problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Previous experience with eCommerce, especially in the fashion and luxury retail space
  • Design degree or similar

Billy Reid is looking for a Technical Designer to join our team who is passionate and knowledgeable about the integrity of garment fit and construction. The ideal candidate will facilitate the transition of each style from design concept to final production. They are responsible for participating in fit sessions, working with design, production, and vendors to ensure that the technical, functional, and physical fit are appropriately executed to achieve the design aesthetic. The Technical Designer is also trusted to identify potential production, quality, and costing challenges and making recommendations for improvement. This position requires 1-6 years of experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and a heightened attention to detail.

Our new Edina shop is seeking both Full Time and Part Time Sales Associates who are passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience by creating a positive, inviting and engaging in-store environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of and passion for the product and will enjoy interacting with customers to present product that will resonate with each individual shopper. Ultimately, through this mastery of product and customer interaction, the sales associate will work to achieve both individual and collective shop sales targets.
