Music has been at the core of Billy Reid since the beginning, that’s why we’re so excited to partner with storied Nashville guitar maker Gibson on an exclusive collection of limited edition styles featuring Billy’s take on the iconic Hummingbird guitar artwork.
To bring this special collection to life, we asked Gibson artists Margo Price, Abraham Alexander, and Aaron Lee Tasjan to model it on location at Gibson’s Nashville factory, as they embody the spirit and attitude of what it’s all about.
Founded in 1894, and headquartered in Nashville, Gibson guitars have been played by a who’s who of musicians, from Keith Richards to Prince, and from Bob Dylan to Gillian Welch.
Billy worked with Gibson to create the ultimate collaboration guitar: a Hummingbird Standard with a Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. This very special model blends vintage appointments with today’s modern, high-quality build construction and is outfitted with gold Gotoh Keystone tuners, double antiqued binding, and a bone nut and saddle.
