RESPONSIBILITIES
Concept
- Research inspirational imagery under the concept direction for the season. (color, garment details, fabric, etc.
- Select Pantone colors based off of color direction from design
- Order Pantone swatches and organize cuttings and copies of the seasonal palette for design team
- Set up color palette library in adobe illustrator
- Manage the set up of concept folders in the drive (color, imagery, details, etc)
- Format inspiration boards into seasonal PDF document and add all color information. Select “Billy Reid” color names
- Create seasonal inspiration boards with imagery and fabrics from the concept direction
- Organize the fabric room each season with the new collection
- Set up copies of fabric inspiration to pass off to PD and the factory by category
- Assist setting up the collection/materials for internal and final line reviews

Design
- Create digital flat sketches from design's direction
- Develop stripe repeats from design's direction
- Develop sweater artwork PDF files from design's direction
- Research market styles, construction details, and style inspiration
- Create digital sketches for mock up requests or specific design details (custom rib trim, quilt pattern, etc)
- Work with design to select fabric subs and organize fabric handoff to PD to send to the factory
- Assist design to approve lab and yarn dips
- Assist in setting up product or content for in person design meetings
- Attend BOM reviews to shadow process & taking notes when needed
- Develop colored in CADs for seasonal merchandising use

Market Prep
- Manage design notes column of change log
- Organize trim changes with our alterations seamstress or trim updates in house
- Create style CADs for NuOrder - list provided by merch and wholesale

Technical Design
- Measuring samples for fittings
- Attend fittings to take notes & learn our fit process
- Organize archive samples
- Send packages as needed

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and hand sketching 
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, and excel 
- Bachelor's degree in apparel design preferred 
- Understanding of garment construction

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and create an individual clothing category that meets the Billy Reid aesthetic, quality standards, and assortment needs.
- Work with Chief Design Officer and Director of Design to create seasonal custom designs
- Responsible for all design details from rough sketches, digital sketches, and handing off styles to product development 
- Work with product development team partners to maintain design integrity while adhering to margin requirements
- Create sketches in illustrator
- Supply all needed information for package development to hand over to the product development team
- Manage communications with product development in a timely manner
- Participate in fittings working closely with the Technical Designer to fit garments and review product details to ensure product execution meets the design aesthetics as well as commercially acceptable quality standards.
- Responsible for all material / color selection, construction details, and fit direction
- General knowledge of fabrications and fabric structures
- Create filled in CADs and design presentations (concept boards, style decks, etc)
- Assist in presentation of collection
- Provide support and assistance on collaborations and special projects as needed.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 + Years of experience in the fashion industry
- Design / fit experience
- Technical knowledge / experience in garment construction
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design preferred

THE OPPORTUNITY
Billy Reid is looking for someone to lead our fast growing eCommerce business. They will own digital marketing, email, and website decision making to deliver the eCommerce P&L, which is set to become our largest percent of revenue.  The ideal candidate is a business-oriented and quantitative-minded eCommerce professional. They will be the daily, main point of contact for all eCommerce and digital efforts, internally and externally.  This key employee will have significant responsibility to and visibility with company executives, 3rd party outsourced agencies, and consultants as the go-to person helping to do the following:

eCommerce Business:
- Own the eCommerce P&L – focus on exponentially growing the business, and delivering projected top-line sales and profitability of eCommerce business
- Create and manage reports that illustrate business dynamics (revenue, traffic, traffic by source, conversion, AOV, etc) and analyze/identify trends and triggers that impact the business 
- Work with direct manager (Head of Direct to Consumer) and Retail leadership to ensure alignment across online and brick and mortar business 
- Create and manage cost budget including ongoing people/ platform costs, as well as digital marketing spend 
- Oversee eCommerce site strategy, design, update, execution
- Maintain a schedule of large (full year) and tactical (next two weeks) product/ marketing efforts to ensure alignment with eCommerce business strategies

Marketing
- Manage email strategy and framework, work with brand marketing to develop content, and execute multiple email campaigns per week
- Oversee digital marketing/ performance marketing strategy/ budget/ execution (along with third party digital agency)
- Hold 3rd parties accountable to delivering results (eg. digital agency) and leverage intuition/ gut when a partner should be doing more/ more aggressive in their roles
- Work with agencies to create insightful daily/weekly/monthly reports on the outcomes of advertising campaigns 
- Ensure that the Billy Reid lifestyle/ product value proposition is clear and compelling on every eCommerce customer-facing marketing touchpoint 
- Ensure consistency of marketing efforts across digital, email, website, social

Cross-functional
- Work with Distribution and IT to deliver the business
- Work with product/ planning team to establish promotion tactics based on business trends and overall cross-channel strategies and product focus
- Work with internal product and brand marketing people to get them insight, content, customer testimonials, etc. that will help shape content/ product

THE SKILLS NEEDED:

- Front end website/landing page design best practices
- Any coding or data-pass/data collection work, such as familiarity with Google Tag Manager
- A creative background that allows this person to better work with the creative and art professionals working on sales materials

RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Creation
- Develop category strategies, ensuring growth drivers/ plans are financially realistic and aligned across channels
- Own top down assortment build based on revenue plan 
- Pull and analyze hindsight data
- Build SKU-level line plan with productivity/ volume expectations and economics including competitive pricing and IMU direction  
- Own the change log by executing decisions and communication between design, production, wholesale, marketing and merchandising
- Manage RLM including but not limited to MSRP, WS price, collection, delivery, tier, dropping colorways and skus

Reporting (ownership of scope/ specifics reports TBD)
- Create and present regular reports including weekly selling report, key weekly reports, Monday reporting deck, regional sales summary, promo recaps, and return reports.
- Create or optimize additional reports as needed. This may include hind sighting data, mid-season insights, and ecomm daily budgets.

Third Party
- Act as liaison with 3rd parties including communication with accounting
- Create weekly sales reports 
- Manage reorder requests and replenishments

Other Responsibilities
- Work with Toolio integration team
- Manage 42 maintenance
- Maintain Product Knowledge for each season
- Assist with other projects as assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of similar work experience, bachelor's degree in Merchandising or related field preferred
- Detailed knowledge of data systems including:  RLM, Shopify, 42, Toolio, Returnly, NuOrder, and CHQ-Teamwork

Senior Technical Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on designated styles starting from initial pass-off through production using Illustrator and Excel programs
- Partner with Design and Product Development on all new development styles
- Initiate and maintain Technical Packages for all styles produced domestically and overseas
- Prepare garments and paperwork for fitting: evaluate it against previously made comments, check measurements and identify trims/fabrication
- Take ownership in fitting sessions providing garment history and solutions to fit issues
- Partner with Design to approve protos and pre-production garment (all stages) in timely manner according to Time & Action Calendar and Production Plan
- Communicate with domestic and overseas factories. Timely respond to all inquiries and requests via e-mail or through verbal communication.
- Ensure size & fit consistency
- Drive towards efficient ways of working and help solve fabric/finish/quality issues in collaboration with Design, Development, and Production

- 5 + Years of experience in the fashion industry

Content
- Deliver content via Instagram, Facebook
- Engage consumers on social media 
- Assist in all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms  
- Work with In House Photographer and Producer on any additional photo or video needs around stories
- Gather and analyze customer insight and market trends 
- Develop weekly reports to review with Head of Marketing
- Support PR by assisting  with influencer shipping & engagement
Strategic
- Prepare marketing strategies alongside other company executives and staff [monthly campaigns outside of product launches]  
- Ensure the messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategy [part of weekly review]
Reporting
- Report on return on investment and key performance metrics 
- Gather and analyze customer insight and market trends 
- Develop weekly reports to review with Head of Marketing
- Manage and evaluate influencer programs through PR | Report back after reposting on  influencers

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience growing and managing social brand channels
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook
- A strategic and analytical thinker that can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings
