THE OPPORTUNITY
Billy Reid is seeking an FP&A Analyst to provide data analytics and help support and grow the finance department. They should exhibit superior analytical skills, excellent business acumen, and strong attention to detail. This role will work closely with the Head of Finance to provide necessary financial data for making key investment decisions and informing P&L and cash flow outcomes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and manage financial models in conjunction with the Head of Finance
- Improve and manage day-to-day cash forecasting model – monthly, yearly, strategic horizon
- Evaluate capital structure scenarios and timing (investor equity, debt financing, etc.)
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to leadership team in support of the company’s business and financial goals
- Conduct analysis to inform key strategic decisions
- Proactively seek solutions to improve processes
- Other ad-hoc analysis and work across the business, as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS
- Business acumen and healthy curiosity to understand the business and tell stories with numbers
- 2 or more years of finance experience 
- Ability to “own the model and the implications” – is analytically-capable and detail-oriented enough to build and maintain the models, while also able to sanity-check and communicate the financial/operational cash implications for the business 
- Excellent analytical skills, with a superior attention to detail 
- Drives results, acts to surpass goals, seizing opportunities to push the envelop
- Is an entrepreneurial spirit motivated by challenges and complex problems

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance-related field
- Experience in developing financials models
- Expert skills in Excel

THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Head of Stores, you will oversee all aspects of the retail store P&L (focused on sales & controllable costs) for a portfolio of 15 stores across the Eastern and Southern parts of the US. Your main job is to maximize sales & profit of the existing network, and coach a team of Market Directors to deliver an optimal customer and employee experience, operational excellence, & merchandising execution. You are accountable for building top line retail strategy, and ensuring a detailed execution plan across all levels that maps back to it. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive conversion rate up across the network, with a goal of a 1%-2% conversion rate improvement year on year
- Test new ideas, ideally in one store, and then push out and implement best practices across the network
- Focus team on identifying and accentuating the best sellers, via client sales, visual merchandising positioning, and stock/replenishment actions
- Attract, hire, develop and retain the best team to meet both short and long-term business goals.
- Build thriving clienteling practice (likely with Clientela), generating repeat traffic and strong relationships with local customers
- Develop individual and team performance & capabilities via clear expectations, intentional conversations, meaningful recognition and accountability.
- Foster and maintain an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
- Identify themes in product performance across the store portfolio and feedback actionable suggestions to the merchandising team
- Teach area/market directors to lead effective store reviews to uncover opportunity and sharpen team skills
- Identify and proactively solve problems with sustainable solutions
- Support our omni-channel initiatives (i.e. data capture, ecommerce, CRM) with an understanding that our customers shop in multiple channels. 
- Maintain a keen awareness of the external market and competition
- Ensure stores are operating in compliance with all Billy Reid Inc. policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong leader, with a history of developing team members
- Ability to analyze key business metrics to identify performance opportunities
- Resiliency – ability to find alternative solutions

THE OPPORTUNITY: Head of Merchandising

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee creation of an assortment that properly balances design direction and consumer relevance, clearly illustrates seasonal and product stories, is delivered on-time at desired economics (MSRP and cost), and achieves desired sell-thru.  
- Establish product strategies and identify growth initiatives by category, pricepoint, etc - both long and short term
- Build top down assortment plan (merch financial plans) and assortment architectures based on revenue projections, business needs, and product strategies
- Build SKU-level line plan with productivity/ volume expectations and economics including competitive pricing and IMU direction  
- Synthesize inputs from Direct to Consumer and Wholesale channels into product direction.  Inform design decisions using consumer/ market insights, hindsight data, and channel inputs. Provide Design team with design briefs and visual references.
- Manage the merchandising milestones in adherence to the cross functional calendar to ensure timelines are kept - key milestones are Seasonal Kick-off, Design Review, Proto Review, Final Line Review, Seasonal Buy, DTC Launch
- Collaborate with Design to ensure proper balance of design direction, commercial need, seasonal storytelling, assortment cohesiveness, etc. endures through product creation process 
- Work with Design and Production to ensure product economics are meeting MSRP and margin targets
- Drive over all “internal sell-in” of vision, product line, and energy across all channels
- Manage the operational lead up to wholesale market - finalize assortment, coordinate adoption with Production and Wholesale team
- Partner with channel leads and planning team to make buying decisions and forecast demand
- Collaborate with Marketing, Stores, Visual Merch, Ecomm teams to ensure assortment is reflected as intended and product knowledge is disseminated across channels
- Manage team of merchants to deliver the process above
- Partner with digital/ ecomm/ marketing on in-season product/ category strategies, promotion strategies, etc. to meet sell-thru goals and objectives

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Both consumer and market oriented with the ability to balance art (creative/consumer need) and science (assortment plan/economics)
- Possesses high level of fashion sense or “taste”
- Understands apparel industry and dynamics of fashion/ trend
- Advanced understanding of an Apparel Go To Market process
- Is commercial, growth, and P&L oriented
- Financially savvy with advanced proficiency in MS Excel
