Why is Billy Reid acquiring Knot Standard?
To leverage the Knot Standard best-in-class product, capabilities and operating model in combination with 4-time, CFDA winning Billy Reid brand to ultimately grow a designer fashion label with widespread awareness and recognition.
Who/what is Billy Reid?
Billy Reid is an award winning American fashion designer based in Florence, Alabama. His ready to wear line (launched in 1998) includes menswear, womenswear, accessories and eyewear.
Will the production timelines change?
Currently no. You should expect no change to the service we are currently providing you. If any changes start to roll out, we will proactively let you know.
Will the garments still be custom made?
Yes. Nothing about our garment production process is changing.
Will Billy Reid off the rack garments have similar custom options?
Not at this time. We will be excited to share all updates in our product offering due to the merger as soon as they are available.
Will referral points work on Billy Reid off the rack garments?
Currently, no. If this changes in the future, we will notify you.
Will I need to get remeasured?
A: No. Our systems are the same, and we still have access to all of your most up to date information.
Will alterations on custom garments still be complimentary within the first 90 days?
Yes. Nothing about our alterations policy has changed. Will we update our customers if it does in the future.
Will I be able to purchase Billy Reid ready to wear from my custom stylist or do I have to go to a Billy Reid store?
We are excited about the opportunity to offer the Knot Standard brand to Billy Reid customers and Billy Reid brand to Knot Standard customers. For the time being custom will be made through Knot Standard and ready to wear through Billy Reid, and you should work with your respective stylist/sales person at each retailer until further notice.
Is your showroom closing?
No. Our locations will remain the same.
Will customization options be the same as always in custom garments?
Currently, yes. We have no changes to our product offering.
Will alterations be covered on Billy Reid garments?
No. If that changes in the future we will let you know.
If we have a monthly offer, will Billy Reid garments be incorporated?
We will notify you if Billy Reid garments are included in an offer.
Will anything change with my available vouchers?
No, use your vouchers as normal (currently can not be redeemed on Billy Reid merchandise).
Where are Billy Reid garments made?
The garments are made in the United States, Peru, Italy, and Japan, and more recently in India and China using French, Italian and Japanese fabrics.
Do you still offer the same customizations you did with Knot Standard and are they complimentary?
Yes, we will still be providing the same services, with additional enhancements
Are my measurements still on file from Knot Standard?
Yes, however we want to make sure these are up to date to support any future orders. Please contact our stylists to confirm.
What happened to my Knot Standard profile that included my purchase history?
We still have your purchase history on file. For support, please contact your Bill Reid Stylist.
Does Billy Reid offer the same fabric options as Knot Standard?
We are still offering the same fabrics and services you have enjoyed from day one.
How much is an entry level suit at BR?
$1,095 is our current opening price.
Why is pricing on the Knot Standard website different from Billy Reid?
Currently Billy Reid's pricing reflects Tariff, Mill, and Manufacturing price increases that have taken place within the last year. Adjustments have been made due to the changes across the industry.
Can I purchase items from the Knot Standard website with my measurements?
You are not able to purchase through the Knot Standard website. However, you can contact a Billy Reid Custom Stylist and we will happily answer any of your questions.
