WE LOVE YOU
Buckhead is the vibrant neighborhood we call home in Georgia. Like so many of the culturally rich neighborhoods in Atlanta, we love Buckhead for its community, food scene, and great music. It’s worth celebrating—so we made a guide to do just that.
THE SHOP
The rustic, unfinished feel of the wood floors from an old Alabama barn and paneling from aged doors is perfectly juxtaposed with midcentury furniture and artfully merchandised clothes.
Around the Neighborhood
THE SNACKS
Chef Kevin Gillespie’s Gunshow serves dishes made with local and seasonal ingredients. Store Director Andrew Murphy’s tip is to, “Get a spot at the chef’s counter. You don't have to order every dish that's presented, but it's a good possibility you'll never see the same dish twice.”
THE SHOWS
Buckhead Theater is an institution and hosts everything from folk to heavy metal—even live podcasts. Plus, there's not a bad seat in the house.
THE SIPS
“Delbar can be a bit of a scene, so you're guaranteed to meet interesting people while you're sipping on some aleppo pepper infused mezcal," Murphy says. Don’t miss their Lebanese wine list and local DJ sets.
THE SECRET SPOT
A hike at the Lullwater Preserve is not only easy and beautiful, but you don’t have to leave the city to reach it. You can do a 30-minute walk or spend the day exploring.
